What version of the Flash Player do I need to watch the tutorials?
You will need Player 9.0.115.0 or greater. This is because all new tutorials will be encoded in the H.264 format. You can get the latest player by going to
adobe.com.
Why are there so many tutorials that don't have files to download?
Most tutorials do have exercise files to go along with them. For various reasons I have misplaced many of them. Luckily other people out there have them and I'm in the process of getting them all back up. Thanks for your patience.
I have a question about one of the tutorials. Can I email you?
You can try but most likely I won't be able to respond due to the number of emails that I get. A much better solution would be to post your questions on the
gotoAndLearn() Forum where there are thousands of friendly people just waiting to help you.
How do I play the downloaded FLV files?
You will need a standalone FLV player in order to play them. Currently the best solution is to use
Adobe Media Player which you can download over on the
Adobe Labs site.
Why can't you provide downloadable tutorials in a format like QuickTime?
Funny that you should ask that because that is what I will be doing very soon. I just need to wait until the Flash Player supports them fully.
